ARTIST BIO

Morris Madrone is an American singer, songwriter, and producer based out of Venice, CA. Morris Madrone is a multi-faceted instrumentalist—he plays the piano, guitar, synthesizer, organ, ukulele, bass guitar, and drums. Madrone writes, performs, and produces all of his music, developing every detail of his artistry. From deep dance tracks to soulful rock ballads, Madrone prides himself on his versatility as an artist, transcending numerous styles and genres. It’s been said if David Bowie, Elvis, and Van Morrison had a baby, and Maroon 5, Calvin Harris, and Daft Punk had a baby, then those babies had a baby… you’d get Morris Madrone. His sound truly is a contagious medley of old and new.

Madrone discovered music fairly late in life; starting piano lessons at the age of 19, Madrone was quickly deemed a “late prodigy” by his teacher who encouraged his transfer to Columbia College Chicago where he studied musical composition. Following graduation, Madrone moved back to Los Angeles in 2014 and began contracting score work for film, gaming, and advertising.

Though his small jingle company was a modest success, Madrone felt unsatisfied as a commercial songwriter. Following his intuition, Madrone fled to Denver to isolate and discover his sound as an artist. After a year of isolation, he returned to Los Angeles and produced his debut album, titled Morris Madrone (independently released: November 20th, 2020). The album drew immediate praise from Madrone’s rapidly growing fanbase and earned him industry recognition as an up-and-coming singer/songwriter.

Currently, Madrone’s stock rises with a highly anticipated inventory of six new singles and four music videos scheduled to be released throughout 2021. His year started strong with the February 12th premiere of the “Under the Moon” music video, as well as the dark and dancey masterpiece, “Runaways” that released April 1st, 2021.
